A twist on the classic monster-under-the-bed tale...

A long time ago
In a pale blue house
There lived a girl who was quiet as a mouse.
Her parents didn't like her much
They thought her to be strange
And they left a lock on the door
Just to be safe.
Well, one day there came a monster under
Susie's little bed
But he didn't know that he'd soon be dead
And she said,

"Hey monster, don't you want to play with me?
I have some toys downstairs for you to see..."

Now the monster thought it queer that Susie
Wasn't scared of him.
But he thought, "Hmm... Oh well!"
And decided to join in
Well, Susie lead him down the stairs
To the basement underneath.
But there was nobody home to hear him scream
And she said,

"Ha! Ha Ha Monster!"
She had demons eyes!
Then she grabbed him by the neck and screamed,
"Surprise!"

Well, that's the last we heard of the monster
From that fretful day.
Last that I heard was Susie ran away.
So instead of being afraid of the monsters
That live under your bed
Next time you go to sleep
I'd check for her instead.
